The initial integration (in snv_72) of nv_sata did not include ATAPI 
support.  nv_sata ATAPI support was added in snv_95, so your DVD drive 
should work with snv_104.

What kind of DVD drive do you have?  If you are correct and it is on 
sata0, then it is reporting a bad device signature.
