Might help if you posted the output of 'ptrconf -v' for your adapter. This would tell use whose chipset is on the NIC.

Oh, we know whose chip it is. Its atheros *ethernet*. An engineer is working on a driver for it. You can probably use the driver that Murayama wrote in the meantime.
