Since the OS can not see any disks, the system booted as "Maintenace
mode". After I logged in using "jack" and typed "prtconf -vp", the
system could not find the command. I checked /sbin,/usr/sbin,/bin and
/usr/bin, I could not find the "prtconf".
Could you please try opensolaris 08/11?
Now we found opensolaris 09/06 may cause regression about ATI SBxxx AHCI
chipset.
PS. Before you install the system, set AHCI mode in BIOS for SATA
controller.

I can not install the opensolaris due to this problem.
When I used the web tool for compatibility of my system with the
current release, they pointed out that this is the problem.
You should still be able to use the live cd to boot an environment.
If you have Linux on your system, lspci -v output or scanpci output
might be helpful.

Hi,
I am new to opensolaris. I tried to install June release of
opensolaris to my computer. But I found some problems. The current
release does not have the device driver for my SATA disk. Do you
have any idea when "ATI SB700/800 SATA controller" will be supported?
I'm somewhat surprised that it isn't supported -- can you send
prtconf -vp output? (Maybe this device conforms to the AHCI
specification?)

Thanks in advance
