Hi there,
I've just reseantly installed open solaris on my home pc and all is working well. I found the drivers for my nic card, compiled them, got that working. However, I am having difficulty getting my xfi-audio sound card to work. I've checked the creative opensource website,
http://www.creativeopensouce.com,
and have found a "linux" driver. I am quite a newbie to the world of Solaris, so I am going to assume since the Kernel's are different a "linux" based driver will not work in Solaris? I've also downloaded the rc2 version of the "boomer project" and that did get my logitech usb headset working quite nicely. However, I have no indication that my soundcard's drivers are instaled. My headset works ok, but I use orca, and I'm not sure that my particular sound card might not be able to handle it along with system sounds better. Thanks in advance,
Justin
