I've spent a little time today making it build and run under DragonFly BSD and
OpenSolaris, and the current tree should work just fine (although it has not
been thoroughly tested). Most of the changes were build related, or minor
standard discrepancies that luckily were easy to solve in a clean way.

The POSIX preload library does not build, tho, because of some header issues,
but it shouldn't take much effort to make it work.
