Hi!
While I have been working on identifiers in the system I have been
fixing the internals to allow us to eventually have catalogs (which I
personally think of as being a pretty desirable feature). At the very
least we have to print a value for them in the ANSI I_S.
Do we want to just default the value to NULL? Would we want to go on
and setup a 3 tiered directory?*
I'm not crazy about the MySQL usage of the word "default" for this, so
I would like to avoid that if possible.

*I know there are proposals for complex schemas for storage engines to
have their own directories, but I am not really up for that at the
moment (and I don't know that it belongs anywhere near a user).
