Yeah I'd have to agree. Some coders are DBAs but some DBAs aren't coders. The documentation definitely needs to live somewhere but I dunno if at least usage docs should live there. On an aside, anything that can be done to make drizzledump faster than mysqldump would be awesome. mysqldump is quite painfully slow. Perhaps that was more MySQL itself but it's definitely something I'd love to see fixed.
