Hi guys,
So, at the moment in the client apps we have:
-m [ --mysql ] Use MySQL Protocol.
Which is used to switch between the MySQL Protocol and the Drizzle
Protocol (currently broken, I have a branch which fixes it for the
drizzle client).
--protocol arg The protocol of connection
(tcp,socket,pipe,me
mory).
Which does absolutely sod-all.
I propose removing the --mysql option and changing it to:
--protocol=mysql (default)
--protocol=drizzle
--protocol=...whatever...
What do you guys think?
