Thanks Andrew,

I'll give this a whirl.

Best,
Travis

If you just want to see the backtrace post-crash, you can always do:

gdb ../drizzled/.libs/lt-drizzled var/master-data/core

This is assuming you are in drizzle/tests and have just run a test-case that crashed the server.

    To continue, re-run with '--force'.

One issue that I have is that 'xterm' is not a command in Fedora.
To open a terminal i use
'gnome-terminal'. But even then, the parameters are different and
    it does not work.

    as in:
    xterm -title master_0 -e ../libtool --mode=execute gdb -x
    /home/tdavies/repo/drizzle-628397/drizzle/tests/var/tmp/gdbinit.master_0
    /home/tdavies/repo/drizzle-628397/drizzle/drizzled/drizzled
Failed to parse arguments: Unknown option -title

                Do you have gdb installed?

OK, can you please look in tests/var/log/ to see if there is
any information as to why it won't start? Can you also please
let us know what operating system you are using?

        Kind Regards
