Hey all,

I've set us up with the Work Item tracker that the canonical Ubuntu
teams use in conjunction with Launchpad Blueprints. There are
plans/talks of integrating this with launchpad directly, but for now
it's a pretty nice tool.

It's really simple to use... essentially, but a list of todo items in
the whiteboard of your blueprint, following the formatting rules here:

https://wiki.ubuntu.com/WorkItemsHowto

Then, we have a hudson job which will look through the blueprints and
generate some reports:

http://drizzle.org/workitems

So this way it's pretty easy to have a blueprint for the major task
(refactor system variables) and then just make little bullet points for
the individual todo items. If you're like me, a single line of

It will also treat bugs linked to blueprints as work items, so if there
is something large enough to warrant an actual bug, then file it and
link it and you'll be good to go as well.

Have fun.

Monty
