Hi guys, So, according to the GSoC time line there is until 8th April to send your application to the GSoC site. Here are some guidelines to get you started:
1. Please take on some low-hanging-fruit <https://bugs.launchpad.net/drizzle/+bugs?field.tag=low-hanging-fruit> or other bugs so we can get a feel for your abilities and you can get used to the code and merging processes. 2. Join #drizzle on Freenode IRC and feel free to chat to us, we work many different timezones and sometimes it may take a while to respond. 3. If you haven't done so already, please introduce yourself on the mailing list as well as the work you want to do. 4. Submit your proposal to <http://www.google-melange.com/gsoc/homepage/google/gsoc2011>. The deadline in this Friday. We recommend that you give as much detail as possible for your proposal on what you plan to do and how you plan to do it.
