Well, I haven't gotten around to testing the INSERT performance on my own. I 
still recall it being quite fast, so I want to revisit those and determine why 
I was getting higher numbers. All that said, it had a niche and still had 
better compression than InnoDB when I used it so yeah I would like to see it in 
there, though I'll admit the use cases for it are rather tiny.
