As mentioned on IRC, I've found a work around the rpath bug: Launchpad bug 735850 in drizzle "--disable-rpath seems broken in 2011.03.13" [High,Confirmed] The issue still needs to be resolved, but at least I am able to move forward with packaging. That said, I'm now working on getting the latest dev and stable versions packaged (about 50% complete) and should be able to have them up on rpms.drizzle.org by the end of the day (hopefully).
