Hi, I am working on adding PBMS support into drizzledump the same way that I did for myqldump. It is a little more complicated though because drizzledump can dump to another database.
There are 2 things I would like to change if nobody complains. 1) "CREATE TABLE" should always be "CREATE TABLE IF NOT EXISTS". If dropping the table is optional then the backup should not fail if create table finds that the table already exists. I also need this for PBMS because it makes sense to be able to backup some of the PBMS system tables which always exist. 2) When creating tables BLOB columns will always be created as a LONGBLOB columns. By doing this the dump can be restored to a MySQL database with out any possible loss of data and drizzle understands that LONGBLOB is just an alias for BLOB. I need this for PBMS so that when a drizzle database containing PBMS BLOBs is dumped to a MySQL database also supporting PBMS that the BLOB data will be dumped correctly.
