Hi

At OSCON we met a lady from a nearby university who was interested in
potentially making her students do some work with Drizzle. (Kent took
her business card, I hope you have it now...)

For my part I last week contacted two main Technical Universities in
Finland, one is my own alma mater and the other one I was invited to
give a guest lecture via a Sun connection. Both have courses like
"Software Projects" where students get credits for doing some
real-world-like project. Both were positive about co-operating with
Drizzle, they also take ideas from local companies that students may
choose to work from, so this fits nicely into an existing model.

Additionally both expressed interest in collaborating also on a
research level - this is of course awesome++. (I don't know why I
hadn't thought of that.)

So I went ahead to create a new page on the wiki:
http://wiki.drizzle.org/Drizzle_Winter_Semester

So when you come home from burning man, there are following tasks waiting:

Tasks:
 - I appreciate if Brian or someone can review the new ideas I've
provided for sanity/correctness
 - Move your unused but still relevant projects from GSOC 2011 page
here if you're still open to mentoring them
 - Add new projects if you can think of some
 - Contact your own university or any university to see if they are
interested in similar co-operation!
