HI Henrik, Thanks for the details. I following the same approach since last couple of days. I am assigning/removing IPv6 address to my local work machine through the following commands:
ip -6 addr show dev <interface> ip -6 addr add <ipv6address>/<prefixlength> dev <interface> ip -6 addr del <ipv6address>/<prefixlength> dev <interface> I can also ping my IPv6 address through ping6 as: ping6 -I <interface> ipv6_address Now I am trying to make mysql work with IPv6 through assigning (bind-address) attribute in /etc/mysql/my.cnf I didn't make it work yet but I was wondering whether Drizzle also has such configuration file like my.cnf in mysql. Note that the Linux howto is long like a novel!
