We had this discussion some time ago and for now we stayed on the approach that wiki is open to all and we rollback the spams as they come. Blocking the spam users is pretty useless as they just register new ones. (But you can block them if you want to.) If rolling back spam every week becomes a nuisance, there are two options: * require manual approval for new wiki users. we could provide a message that you need to email drizzle-discuss after registering, then we can pop in to approve new users; or * install a Meadiwiki module for mollom or akismet spam filtering service. I use this on my blog and it works great and you can then let anonymous users post comments. henrik -- [email protected] +358-40-8211286 skype: henrik.ingo irc: hingo www.openlife.cc My LinkedIn profile: http://www.linkedin.com/profile/view?id=9522559 _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~drizzle-discuss Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~drizzle-discuss More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
