Daniel Nichter: Kick-start: Compiling Drizzle on bare-metal Ubuntu 11.10
The following package dependencies had to be installed on my bare-metal Ubuntu 11.10 vbox to compile Drizzle: sudo apt-get install g++ gperf intltool libprotobuf-dev protobuf-compiler uuid-dev libpcre3-dev bison python-sphinx libboost-all-dev libcurl4-gnutls-dev libpam0g flex libcloog-ppl0 Other packages may be required, like the actual Boost libs, but that was sufficient for me.
