It's super sad since there's features in Drizzle that are still not in
MySQL, MariaDB, Percona, etc. I really admired the direction it was
going, but it is what it is. Thanks for all the hard work just the same
everyone who worked hard on it!
There are many parts of Drizzle that still live on. Monty applied what
we learned about CI to OpenStack. Libdrizzle is continuing to be
developed in this fork:
https://github.com/sociomantic-tsunami/libdrizzle-redux
It has changed many things in Open Source software without people
realising that certain ideas and concepts came from this project.
Even if this project dies, its spirit lives on.
