regarding this error which has a few suggestions which may be of help:

There are several messages in that discussion thread which offer options
which may help (depending on what you are seeing and whether the
application is actually crashing or just logging errors). It also
references a known issue with Google Analytics at this time:

You also may wish to upgrade to DSpace 5.4 (the latest 5.x version), as
it includes numerous bug fixes which also could be of help.
If none of these suggestions work, you may wish to send more information
to the dspace-tech mailing list around when you are encountering this
error (and how frequently) and what happens to the application when this
error occurs (i.e. does it crash, etc)
