All, In recent years, both Author Profiles and CRIS (Current Research Information Systems) have become hot topics within the ecosystem surrounding DSpace (and IRs in general). To determine how to better align DSpace with such systems and concepts, including the DSpace-CRIS project <https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/DSPACECRIS/>, the DSpace Steering Group has approved the establishment of a "DSpace Entities Working Group".
The goals of this new Working Group will be to: * Determine how to better integrate DSpace with CRIS concepts/systems (including DSpace-CRIS), * Determine which new "entities" should be added to the DSpace data model (e.g. Authors), and * Create a roadmap / plan towards making any such improvements to DSpace.
