I have got two question concerning the Local Metadata Registry (local):
Are there any disadvantages of using more than one local metadata schema? Are there any negative consequences when using e.g. 3 custom, local metadata schemas with different namespaces besides the Dublin-core schema? The documentation states “Future DSpace migrations will not touch fields in the "local" namespace” I am not sure about the meaning of this sentence. Does this mean that when migrating from one DSpace Version to the next only the fields in local schema will also show up in the new DSpace version and the fields in the schemas with other namespace won’t show up in the new DSpace version?
