Hi all,

This afternoon Mark Diggory and myself have worked to reorganise the
Dspace SVN repository hosted on SourceForge in preparation to allow
development to start on DSpace version 1.6.

Versions 1.50, 1.5.1, and 1.5.2 were developed in their own branch:

-
http://dspace.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/dspace/branches/dspace-1_5_x/

There was a trunk containing some DAO work, and changes to the
identifier system. A lot of this code is no longer actively maintained,
so trunk has been moved to a new branch called dspace-dao-prototype:

-
http://dspace.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/dspace/branches/dspace-dao-prot
otype/

A copy of the latest code in the dspace-1_5_x branch has now been copied
into trunk for development of version 1.6:

- http://dspace.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/dspace/trunk/

All new developments now need to be made against trunk. You will need to
update your development environments to work against trunk rather than
the 1_5_x branch.

We are likely to move the SVN repository from SourceForge to an
OSL-hosted Dspace server sometime soon, so you may want to wait until
the move has been completed before updating your development
environment.

If you have any questions about this re-organisation, please direct them
to the dspace-devel email list.

Best wishes,

Stuart Lewis
