Hi Ricard,
I meant variant as a part of the java Locale.
A Locale consists of
- language code
- optional country code
- optional variant code
So the locale for Catalan would be ca. For spanish catalan ca_ES. For
valencian catalan one might use the region as variant ca_ES_V. But as central
Catalan is not tied to one region, I'm not sure which variant to use in order
to distinguish it from valencian catalan.
