I'm not able to reproduce this bug...
looking to the log that you have posted seems that an error has been thrown in
the error-internal.jsp
but this is not the root of the real problem... most probably there are some
problems with your item-submission.xml configuration, have you make any
customization?
can you post more data from your logs? I'm expecting a row like "Error loading
step class..."
Finally, can you post the generated class file of your error-internal.jsp? you
should find it in the "work" directory of your servlet container (sorry, I use
Tomcat and I don't know Jetty) in a path like org/apache/jsp/
