Make-handle-server configuration fails. Using manual commands instead of
script is successful.

The script Make-handle-server repeatedly fails for a variety of unknown
reasons. But, running the command [dspace]/bin/dsrun
net.handle.server.SimpleSetup [dspace]/handle-server is very successful.
I recommend that the script be removed and that the instructions to use the
manual command be highlighted and implemented.
Documentation will be updated accordingly.
