All,

As usual, there will be DSpace Developers Meeting later today (Weds, Jan
27) in the #duraspace IRC channel at 20:0O UTC. Again, that's 15:00 EST
or 12:00 PST for those in the USA.

Agenda items include:

(1) Status updates on DSpace 1.6 (1.6 RC2 by end of week or early next
week??)
(2) Graham Triggs' proposal to allow storage of OpenURL ContextObjs in
metadata, and allow for other machine parsable metadata fields. For more
background:
(2a) DC Citation guidelines for Machine parsable citations:
http://dublincore.org/documents/dc-citation-guidelines/#rec4
(2b) SWAP BibliographicCitation (both a human and machine version):

Time permitting, we could also do a JIRA review.

Feel free to send along other topics/details to add to the agenda.

Transcripts and more information about our Developer meetings are
available at:

As always, all our meetings are public. We welcome any developers or
non-developers to attend or just read along with the chat discussions.
