Eija Airio commented on DS-611:
-------------------------------

The behaviour HAS changed between 1.5.x and 1.6.: some checks in
ItemAdapter.java have been removed in 1.6.

It is possible to correct this by re-adding the checks which were in 1.5.2
after these comments:
//Check if we have at LEAST one bitstream for which we have read rights
//Check if we have read rights on our bitstream

> icons of restricted bitstreams

> Project: DSpace 1.x
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: DSpace API
> Affects Versions: 1.6.0, 1.6.1
> Reporter: Eija Airio
>
> When a bitstream was restricted in earlier DSpace versions (1.5.x), it was
> completetely hidden: the user did not see its icon unless she had read
> access. In the versions 1.6.0 and 1.6.1, the icons of restricted bitstreams
> are shown, which is not nice.
