Robin Taylor updated DS-621:
----------------------------

    Attachment: Delete_old_exports.patch

Backed away from the idea of making use of a system defined temp directory. The
problem is that as things stand the administrator needs to be able to define
how long an export is kept for and this may not be under the dspace
administrator's control. Changed the existing 'remove old exports'
functionality to remove all old exports not just the ones for the person doing
the export. I presume it was originally done this way to avoid having a cron
tidyup job so I have stuck with that thinking. My one concern is if there are a
lot of exports to delete there may be a big delay in the response. I'll test
further before committing.

> The exports of an eperson are only deleted if the eperson exports another
> item and the existing exports exceed the lifespan configured. This is a bit
> clumsy as exports might thus linger forever.
> Exports should be cleaned up via a cron job.
> Furthermore the lifespan of an export should be indicated in the My DSpace
> and the user should be able to delete his own exports.
