Since last fall, PDFBox has gone from v. 1.2.1 (the currently used version in
DSpace) through 1.3, 1.4 and now 1.5.
These appear to be bug fixes and minor improvements rather than major changes.
I have tried v. 1.5.0 in a Dspace 1.7.1 instance on some problem PDFs and got
better results than with v. 1.2.1.
jempbox and fontbox have now aligned their version numbers to correspond to
pdfbox.
