Graham Triggs commented on DS-881:
----------------------------------
Are those profiles all active by default?
As long as we have the full set of modules being referenced by 'default
activation' profiles (and not through automatic detection) - either as a single
'activeByDefault' with individual profiles that can be enabled, or a profile
for each module where each is activeByDefault - then yes, all the tools should
play nice, and you still get the option of selectively choosing the modules via
profiles.
The main thing I see as unnecessary is the file based detection rather than the
profiles per se.
