Tim Donohue commented on DS-1005:
---------------------------------

Just to clarify my previous comment:

First, it's worth mentioning, MarkD just fixed the org.swordapp.server.*
classes so that they all have the standard DSpace license (i.e. no more errors
there)

However, I still wanted to clarify the licensing of the SWORD version 2 code.
Currently we've licensed it all with the standard DSpace License, which means
the code claims to be owned by DuraSpace (http://www.dspace.org/license/). I
just wanted to verify (with Stuart or Richard Jones) that this is correct.

If any of the SWORD code actually should be under another license (Apache 2 or
similar), or be copyrighted by the SWORD Project Team or JISC, then we need to
fix that.

> Ticket for the addition of SWORD v2 to DSpace 1.8. When building, you'll
> need to make sure you update dspace.cfg to include the new config options.
> Before 1.8 launch, we'll move these into modules/swordv2.cfg
> To test:
> 1) Apply patch
> 2) Unzip zip file to create new dspace-swordv2 module
> 3) Do the maven dance, deploy, visit /swordv2/servicedocument, enter DSpace
> username and password, check a service document is shown
