Kevin Van de Velde updated DS-599:
----------------------------------
Attachment: DS-559--AddBundleNameToSOLR_V0_3.patch
Thanks Peter Dietz.
I have changed the query like you said & everything is now up & running. So you
can now configure which bundles you want to view in your bitstream statistics
(by default only ORIGINAL).
People can feel free to review the implementation and give any
comments/improvements they find.
The update script it will require some more work to increase the performance. I
will attempt to look into that in the near future.
> SOLR statistics file download displays all files and not only those in the
> Bundle Original

> The file download statistic for an item displays all the bitstreams
> regardless of the bundle they belong to.
> So licenses, extracted texts got displayed and counted. This is a bit
> confusing for the normal user as their existence is usually hidden from him.
> Furthermore I wonder whether views from the edit item stage should be counted
> as "regular" views at all.

All of the data generated in your IT infrastructure is seriously valuable.
Why? It contains a definitive record of application performance, security
threats, fraudulent activity, and more. Splunk takes this data and makes
sense of it. IT sense. And common sense.
