Dear DSpace Community, On behalf of the DSpace developers, I would like to formally announce that DSpace 1.8.0 is now available!

DSpace 1.8.0 follows 1.7.0 in being a "time-based" release, albeit scheduled a little earlier than last year in order to avoid the end of year holiday season.
