I find the DC pages on patents confusing, and lacking tags needed for
describing patents. Has someone created a schema for patents? Can you
point me to any repository that is using such a schema?
Well, I cannot stand still. I must create my own. These will cover:
§ 3 separate numbers & dates for application, publication & granted
patents
§ Patent families showing above 3 record types and coresponding ones in
the different geographical jurisdictions
§ Cited by, and cites
§ Country codes for all of the above (how to keep proper country code
linked to each of the 3 record types above, when all three numbers are in
one record?)
§ Hyperlinkage between the above
