Please, ask the Librarians! There is numerous way to organize a DSpace catalog. 
If a DSpace Item is a FRBR expression, one could be happy to use Bundles to 
store FRBR manifestation and Bitstreams to store the individual files making 
one manifestation. A possibly more important need is to have the possibility to 
add Metadata to bundles and bitstreams. Also, with more and more needs to store 
Datasets in DSpace, an analysis of this other kind of needs is necessary. 
Finally, in Music, we have opus, scores, recordings, tracks, albums, streams, 
playlists: how could we cleverly fit DSpace with those needs? Suggestion: put 
this discussion in the hand of DCAT...
