creation of sub-collections under a collection

There is no choice to create sub-collections under a collection. I'd like to
see that sub-collections are available under a collection, just like
sub-communities under a community. The availability of sub-collections will
accommodate better the structure of serial publications such as a journal. If
so, we can use a collection for the journal title, a sub-collection for a
volume, and a further-down sub-collection for an issue, and each article in an
issue as an item. Without this capability to add sub-collections, some people
are using a community or sub-community instead. But logically, a community
should be a group of people, not a collection of items.
