Hi everyone, when I was messing around with OAI recently, I upgraded our current 1.5.48 to the latest 1.5.59 and I didn't notice any problems. While I can't offer any particular benefit for DSpace for upgrading, a generic reason is that there have been some bug fixes [1]. Also, it seems other projects depend on this Maven project and they say that one of us is the maintaner of this project in Maven [2][3]. Therefore I'd like to suggest that we upgrade.
