org.dspace.utils.DSpace#getSingletonService method calls
org.dspace.kernel.ServiceManager#getServiceByName with the typename as name
parameter. This assumes that no name is set for the bean and will not return a
singleton bean of the type if the name is set. The actual implementation of
this method should probably be moved to the ServiceManager as the spring
application context has methods which do exactly this.
