Resolution: Fixed
Fix Version/s: 3.0
Assignee: João Melo
A configuration to allow for persistent identifiers was implemented in DSpace
3.0 as part of the XOAI/OAI 2.0 release.
Here's the new persistent identifier configuration in the oai.cfg file:
https://github.com/DSpace/DSpace/blob/master/dspace/config/modules/oai.cfg#L12
See also the OAI configuration docs:

> The oai identifiers are supposed to be persistent. In DSpace they are
> constructed with the dspace.hostname, which might change easily.
> There should be a seperate configuration parameter to be used for it and the
> implications of changing it should be well documented, big warning sign.
