I do not think I'm alone, but by that researched, many users wish to add a PDF
/ Image viewer (and other files too) in Dspace. Searching, I found many
suggesting GoogleDocs, others Scridb and others saying to customize their own
core Dspace and integrates it with solutions in html viewer (such as Internet
Archive BookReader), even tried to do this integration but I ended up breaking
the my installation of Dspace.
I would suggest that the next versions of Dspace come with a native file
viewer, which would make it much easier.
Example:
- For PDFs: http://www.brasiliana.usp.br/bbd/handle/1918/00624510;
- For images: http://www.brasiliana.usp.br/bbd/handle/1918/624510002.
