I just tested it again. Special characters in
[dspace-source]/dspace/config/dspace.cfg are preserved. Special characters in
[dspace-source]/build.properties gets crumbled when the dspace.cfg gets filterd
by maven. So with the patch we have a valid work around until someone -who
knows maven better then me- fixes the filtering.
