Bram Luyten (@mire) created DS-1545:
---------------------------------------

             Summary: Documentation for cleanup script
                 Key: DS-1545
                 URL: https://jira.duraspace.org/browse/DS-1545
             Project: DSpace
          Issue Type: Documentation
          Components: Documentation, DSpace API
            Reporter: Bram Luyten (@mire)

After reading this dialog:
http://dspace.2283337.n4.nabble.com/Assetstore-clean-up-Advice-reassurance-gotchas-td4662638.html

I looked in the documentation for relevant parts describing the cleanup script.
Some explanations were provided in:
https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/DSDOC3x/Storage+Layer

If this is the only documentation, I suggest to:
- update that part with the correct commands using the dspace script launcher +
info about the -v verbose option.
- include in the cron section of the installation that running the cleanup
script regularly will be handy in environments where diskspace is an issue.
https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/DSDOC3x/Installation#Installation-'cron'Jobs

I also feel like there should be some more emphasis in general on the fact that
deleted bitstreams are kept in the assetstore until the script is run, but
right now I don't see what the most appropriate page would be.
