Hi All, I just read the logs of yesterday Developer Meeting [1]. There was a discussion about the way files get uploaded into DSpace. I have an idea about how this could be solved using HTML5 File API. With HTML5 File API it is possible to use drag and drop of files into your browser, the browser can slice files into chunks for transmitting large file and even a real status bar is possible. In case of an transmission error only some chunks and not the complete file has to be retransmitted and it might even be possible to pause and continue uploading of files. This is the way gmail and Dropbox solves the upload of files. My problem is not to implement it, currently the biggest barrier for me is, that I don't know the XMLUI from a developers perspective yet. Is there anybody who knows the XMLUI at least a bit and is interesting in working together on the upload interface of it?
