Has any work been done on this front? I'm part of the schema.org bibliographic extension W3 community group (http://www.w3.org/community/schemabibex/), and I'm focused on implementing structured data in library systems. We have a fair number of library-oriented members of the schemabibex group, and I've been using the Evergreen library system as a test bed for some of our ideas, but it strikes me that DSpace, Islandora, Archivespace, etc would be excellent candidates as well. On that front, I know that Nick Ruest has contributed some structured data support to Islandora.
So I guess this is a two or three part question: a. Has any work been done on this? If not, or said work is incomplete, is there interest in pursuing it? b. Is anyone from the institutional repository space interested in joining the schemabibex group? Membership is open and free, and it would be a great place for members of the various IR projects to compare notes and come to a consensus on implementing things in a consistent way.
