Yes, I do plan to submit a new theme with the reported bugs fixed ... and I also intend to work on the 'advanced-search' page; everything should be ready to go in the next 2-3 weeks. Last time I checked the 4.0 timeline, the deadline for contributions is Oct. 7 ... hope this is still the right date.
