Background:
- I have an item under embargo until next year.
- An anonymous user sees and embargoed item in an item display list. The thumbnail image is requested but does not display because of the embargo.
- When the user authenticates into DSpace, the user is immediately taken to the thumbnail image.
As a work-around for this issue, I would like to suppress requests for thumbnails under embargo.
Looking at the METSRIGHTS information for one of my items under embargo, I see
<Context CONTEXTCLASS="GENERAL PUBLIC"> for my thumbnail. There is no indication that this policy is not yet in effect.
Per discussion on the DSpace Tech list, helix84 recommended adding the policy information to this markup.
