Hi Kostas and Keiji,
for any doubts you can found the default mappings configuration in the old PR https://github.com/DSpace/DSpace/pull/306 and the original code (with the originals bugs :-))
As you can see this file https://github.com/CILEA/DSpace/blob/65d9955168e45504fc522d0f23298eddffcc1c68/dspace/config/crosswalks/crossref-submission.properties contains the default mapping for crossref (old style now the map is on the more appropriate spring bean in the bte.xml configuration). Please feel free to modify and improve it. Thank you.

I found some minor bugs in "Bibliographic import and lookup in Submission" function and inadequate configs in "bte.xml". About latter, the crossrefInputMap is a copy of the arxivInputMap and I think that it is not suitable as an example of a configuration.
And I added a new modifier which converts ISO639-2 language 3-char-code into ISO639 2-char-code....
