Christian, Good question. To be honest, we probably need someone to do more thorough testing on 7.0.26. Based on your research, it does sound this Bug 53615 describes a similar problem (which it states *began* in 7.0.29): https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=53615 So, it's unclear to me whether this particular Java heap issue is limited to *just* 7.0.29, or if it also may appear in earlier versions. For example, as Bram notes in comments above, there was also a Java heap bug in Tomcat 7.0.26 reported as Bug 53081 (which was fixed in 7.0.28): https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=53081 We likely need someone to test 7.0.26 more thoroughly to see if it is affected as well. All we know is that both of these issues are fixed in Tomcat 7.0.30 and above. If anyone has done any detailed tests on 7.0.26, we'd appreciate your feedback on this ticket.
