I have a question regarding the authorization policies in DSpace 1.5.2 XMLUI.
If I view the policies for a specific item, I see that I can change policies
for the Item, Bundle, and Bitstream.
I thought that if I only restricted the READ access of the bitstream, that I
would be able to see the item record, but not be able to access the bitstream.
Am I correct in thinking this?
My problem is that, if I am correct, something isn't working right - when I try
to restrict only the Bitstream READ access, it restricts the entire item
record. I want to have the option of viewing the item record, but restricting
the bitstream. Any advice?
